Functionality

Automatic winding, measuring, and cutting of winding materials with the motor-driven reel / spool and ring winders of the MOTROL series. The MOTROL 1000 is ideal for use both stationary at a fixed workstation or mobile in front of a drum rack.

Machine specifications

The basic machine consists of a robust, torsion-resistant welded construction. The winding drive is powered by an AC gear motor and chain with continuously variable speed control and soft start/stop. The winder is versatile and designed for ring winding heads and winding axes. The machine complies with the CE Declaration of Conformity in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

Machine configuration options

• Ring winding head / winding axis:
  For winding ring bundles or spools and reels

• Winding protection:
  Hinged door, sliding door, or light barrier

• Cutting unit:
  Manually, pneumatically, or hydraulically operated cutting unit for easy cutting of the wound material

• Length measuring device:
  MESSBOI 40 LC-MID, 40 B LC-MID, or 80 LC-MID with inlet and outlet roller cage and preselection counter for precise length measurement

• Laying:
  Manual or automatic laying carriage for a homogeneous laying pattern

• Operating concept:
  Ergonomic basic control panel, touch panel, or industrial computer

• Conformity assessment:
  Logging, traceability, and traceability of cutting data. Legally required in accordance with the European Measuring Instruments Directive 2014/32/EU for the EEA

• Mobility:
  Mobile with steerable castors or stationary with feet

• Further configuration options:
  Inlet roller for withdrawal from drum rack, loading and unloading aid, backstop, roller feed
