Kabelmat has been successfully offering the MESSROL 670 and MESSROL 1000 models in its range for many years. Manual cable rewinders that can be flexibly configured as a modular system to meet the customer's requirements. These devices can be used to wind, measure and cut the material.
With the introduction of conformity assessment / MID (former initial calibration), the requirements on length measuring devices have increased significantly. The important change lies in the demand for permanent and tamper-resistant storage of all measurements. Because all length cutting data must be archived, such as time, date, cut length, counter and measurement ID number.
Furthermore, this data should also be visible to the buyer, displayed on a label attached to the pre-cut cable. This provides both the buyer and seller with 100% transparency and traceability, also with individually pre-cut products. The measuring result my be presented on the request of cutomer. However, this is only possible with an electronic counter with integrated measurment data memory. A power supply is thus necessary for an electronic length measuring device or a label printer.
BUT WHAT IF I WANT TO USE MY CABLE REWINDER FLEXIBLY IN THE WAREHOUSE AND DON'T HAVE A POWER SUPPLY NEARBY EVERYWHERE?
This is exactly the challenge Kabelmat wanted to solve. This is how the MESSROL 500 product came into being. An integrated high-performance rechargeable battery ensures wireless power supply of the electronic components and that the device is mobile at the same time. In addition, a new frame was used that offers a lot of storage space, e.g. for cable rings or tools.
