Strong together: Kabelmat donates to children's, youth and family hospice service
Kabelmat is delighted to be able to present a heartfelt donation of 1,000 euros to the Malteser Children's, Youth and Family Hospice Service in Freudenstadt for the fifth time in 2023. The financial support is intended to help the hospice service to continue its important work and support families in difficult life situations.
The children's, youth and family hospice service offers empathetic support for families facing serious illness and death. From the moment the diagnosis is made, they stand by the families, look after the affected children and young people and act as a trustworthy point of contact.
The services offered by the children's, youth and family hospice service include individual counselling and support as well as support and relief for families. It is particularly noteworthy that these services are free of charge for the families concerned and are offered regardless of nationality, religious affiliation or ideology.
The service also specialises in bereavement counselling for children, young people and families. Grief is an individual process and the service aims to support children, young people and their families in this process through individual counselling and grief groups. Community activities such as games, creative work and sharing in groups are intended to help ensure that no one goes through their grief alone.
